Is Undergraduate Management Education Adrift?
Speaking at the EFMD Undergraduate Management Education conference in Budapest, Andrew Crisp from CarringtonCrisp, took as his theme 'What Students Want (and how and where do they get it)'. Drawing on research from the recent Business of Branding and GenerationWeb studies, Andrew suggested there was room for schools to differentiate themselves, but few were doing so effectively.
In his presentation, Andrew highlighted the importance of the student experience, the career outcomes upon graduation and the power of alumni to influence decision making. Andrew also demonstrated the power of school websites and reminded delegates that with growing use of mobile media, schools needed to consider what prospective students could see of the school websites when they went online.
