Relaunching the engineering department at a leading UK university

CarringtonCrisp was appointed to help a top-tier UK institution to relaunch their engineering department.

The project commenced with a wide range of interviews with faculty, alumni and businesses to understand how they perceived the future of engineering.

Interviews were accompanied by an international review of competitors and leading providers to assess trends in the marketplace.

A series of potential propositions for the positioning of the department were developed for testing.

Testing of the propositions was undertaken through an online study of domestic and international prospective students resulting in recommendations for an agreed future positioning.
