Information we collect through our website

We use a third-party service, www.firebrand.nz, to host our website www.carringtoncrisp.com and a third-party service, Silverstripe to manage content on our website. For more information about how www.firebrand.nz and Silverstripe processes data, please see their privacy notices.

When someone visits our website we also use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. Emails you send us

We use a third party provider, easyspace.com, for our email services. Our provider uses a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt and protect email traffic.  Messages are sent using SSL between CarringtonCrisp and easyspace.com. However, you should be aware that any emails we send or receive may not be protected in transit. We will also monitor any emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software.

If you sign up to our e-newsletters

We use a third party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our e-newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. 

Subscriptions are taken in compliance with UK Spam Laws detailed in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. In compliance with those Laws, subscribers are given the opportunity to unsubscribe at any time through an automated system. This process is detailed at the footer of each email sent via an email newsletter campaign.
